About me

I’m a researcher, designer, educator and (sometimes) artist. My interests focus in the intersection between education, society, technology and art. I have an extensive experience in user research and in the design, management and evaluation of socio-educational projects for social interventions and for the development of educational technologies. My previous projects in these areas received several awards, such as: “Baumann: Art & Education” (2014); “Next thing: Art and Innovation” (2012); “Milano in Digitale: Digital Art Award” (2010); “Conca: cultural project award” (2010).

I hold a BA in Fine Arts, a postgraduate diploma in Art therapy and a MSc in Cognitive System and Interactive Media. Currently I’m a PhD student at the Cognitive Media Technologies Group (CMTECH) at University Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona), focusing on experimenting with innovative co-design and evaluation methods for educational technologies and novel interfaces.

In the past I worked as cultural manager for the association minipimer.tv, as a researcher in Telefonica R+D and in European projects and as a lecturer in graduate studies. Currently I’m working as researcher and professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) and as educator in a social innovation program of Laboral, Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial. As an artist, my works have been exhibited in several international events and museums.
